History

The restaurant pays homage, with its name, to the mythical castle built between the 10th and 11th centuries as a guardian fortress on the border between Navarra and Aragón.
This fortification witnessed on April 7, 1,506, the birth of San Francisco Javier, patron of Navarra and the Missions. This fact was what has turned, over the centuries, this castle into a pilgrimage center and a symbol of the Navarrese people.

Nowadays

Opened in 1989, it proposes a suggestive mix of traditional cuisine and an elegant atmosphere.
The tribute to Navarra at the Castillo de Javier Restaurant is not limited only to the name. Its cuisine, inspired by the Navarra tradition, mixes vegetables, meats, fish and seafood based on top quality products.
